Laura serves as the Human Resources Manager for The Adams Companies, overseeing recruiting, employee relations, benefits, payroll, safety, workers’ compensation and unemployment administration for all Adams’ employees.
Laura received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Trinity College, majoring in Human Resources Management. She also earned an Associate Degree in Accounting and a Certificate in Paralegal Studies, specializing in employment law.
Laura began her career in Human Resources in 1988 with Team Edition Sportswear, a large manufacturing company, located in Florida. In 1992, she moved into the Professional Employer Organization (PEO) industry providing human resources consulting services to a variety of businesses nationwide until joining The Adams Companies in 2006.
Laura is very active in the community and serves as a member of the Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce HR Council, as well as a member of the Gainesville Area Employer Committee.
